Transferring your WordPress website to a new hosting account isn’t as easy as just backing up your websites files and moving them.
To completely move your wordpress site, you need to backup the database where your site is located.
In this video, you’ll learn how to determine which database needs to be backed up as well as how to load it into your new hosting account.
We also discuss backing up your website files via FTP but do not go into great detail. If you do not know how to use FTP I’d suggest you hire someone to move your site for you as I believe moving your website is a somewhat advanced project and you need to understand your websites file structure and have a basic knowledge of using a cPanel.
